Marmo Arredo designs the interiors of a five-star boutique hotel, where precious materials and masterful craftsmanship reinterpret the spirit of the Serenissima
There is a place in Venice where time seems to stand still, and design becomes a bridge between past and future. The Venice Venice Hotel, an elegant five-star retreat in the heart of the Cannaregio district, overlooks the Grand Canal with a style that blends the grace of the Serenissima with a cosmopolitan vision. Every detail, from the sculpted surfaces to the architectural volumes, engages in dialogue with Venetian history and tradition to create a unique and immersive hospitality experience.

Designed by Alessandro and Francesca Gallo, the project goes beyond reinterpreting the concept of hospitality, redefining the very identity of the city through an aesthetic language that merges art, material, and memory. Here, every furnishing element becomes part of a broader narrative, rich in cultural references and contemporary gestures.
Marmo Arredo: Italian mastery
The collaboration with Marmo Arredo, an Italian excellence specializing in natural stone processing, represents the material heart of the project. With over forty years of experience, the company has developed a unique savoir-faire that combines artisanal mastery with advanced cutting and finishing technologies.

For The Venice Venice Hotel, Marmo Arredo selected blocks of precious marble and transformed them into sculpted surfaces, furnishings, and architectural details that convey tactile and visual emotions. These are not mere coverings but genuine works of art, capable of creating sophisticated and welcoming atmospheres.
Stones at the heart of the project
The interiors of The Venice Venice Hotel offer a sensory journey through color, texture, and light.
- Red Cipollino marble, with its warm shades and wavy veins, clads bathrooms and transitional areas, offering an enveloping and dramatic effect.
- Anthracite gray marble, with its deep and textured presence, lends elegance to the common areas and decorative details.
- Resin marble, innovative and contemporary, emerges from the fusion of tradition and technology, ensuring durability and refined aesthetics.

On the ground floor suites, trachyte clads walls, steps, and relaxation areas surrounding the indoor pool. The bush-hammered finish, interrupted by a smooth band along the edges, evokes historic Venetian techniques and creates a sense of movement and depth. Sculpted tables, benches, and bases complete a cohesive ensemble where design becomes a living expression of the material.
Details that become sculpture
The bar counter in the common areas takes center stage thanks to Istrian stone, shaped into a striking sculptural monolith. Every detail, from the twisted base to the serrated top edge, reveals Marmo Arredo’s meticulous craftsmanship in working the solid blocks, highlighting the fusion of functionality and art.

A contemporary Venice
The Venice Venice Hotel is more than just a luxury hospitality venue: it stands as a manifesto of design, art, and innovation. Every stone, every vein, every surface is crafted to evoke the essence of Venice, transforming material into a story of elegance and authenticity. The result is a hotel that embraces history and reinvents it, offering guests an immersive and remarkable experience.
