Elegance and Vision: THESIGN Unveils Its New Showroom in the Heart of Rome

THESIGN inaugurates a 400-square-meter immersive space in Via dei Due Macelli, where Italian and international design, art, and architecture converge to create a unique living experience

On October 23, 2025, Rome welcomed the opening of THESIGN’s new showroom, located just steps from Piazza di Spagna at Via dei Due Macelli 8–11. More than a furniture showcase, the space tells an evolving story where materials, light, and atmosphere become tools of narrative and inspiration.

Founders Salvo Nicosia and Stefano Liardo introduced their vision through the immersive event “Alice Through The Looking Glass”, blending design, contemporary art, and architecture.

A Curated Experience of Design

The opening featured collaborations with renowned designers and artists:

  • Elena Salmistraro, Alessandro Corina, Pepa Reverter, Paolo Stella for Bosa
  • FIAM Italia with Marcel Wanders
  • Rosenthal and Sambonet with interactive installations
  • Maurizio Galimberti, con performance live a mosaico di Polaroid

L’evento ha trasformato lo showroom in un percorso sensoriale, evidenziando l’impegno di THESIGN nel proporre design di alta gamma, creatività e esperienze immersive.

A Showroom with Two Souls

Spanning over 400 square meters on two levels, the space merges architecture, art, and interior design. Each area is curated to stimulate imagination and foster dialogue between Italian excellence and international brands.

The neoclassical façade with its carved wooden portal introduces visitors to a world where transparency, light, and materials narrate a contemporary urban living experience. Iconic brands such as Etro Home Interiors and Versace Home coexist with Italian excellence like Cantori and Carpanelli, creating a bold, international, and deeply contemporary aesthetic.

Beside the showroom, a chic boutique showcases exclusive pieces—from Bosa vases to Rosenthal porcelain and Sambonet textiles—where grand design meets the intimacy of exquisite detail.

THESIGN: A Hub for Design and Culture

The new showroom positions THESIGN as a laboratory of design and culture, hosting workshops, talks, performances, and installations. It is a space where materials, forms, and attention to detail fuel the dialogue of international design.

Rome now has a place where beauty is lived, and design becomes a language of emotion and belonging.
