From the Triennale to the peaks of Cortina and Livigno, Casa Italia transforms the Winter Games into a widespread stage where signature furniture and art narrate the country’s identity
From February 6 to 22, 2026, Italy celebrates sport and beauty. On the occasion of the XXV Olympic Winter Games, CONI presents the Musa project. Casa Italia doubles its presence, spanning across the Triennale di Milano, Livigno, and Cortina d’Ampezzo. For the first time, the public can discover an ecosystem where Italian design narrates the nation’s identity.

Architecture between bivouacs and alpine reflections
The architectural concept interprets the mountains using lightweight, high-tech materials. The structures utilize reflective aluminum to evoke high-altitude bivouacs. Inside, the warmth of wood welcomes guests into a domestic atmosphere. In this scenario, Italian design is not merely aesthetic, but a functional response to contemporary climatic and social challenges.

The Great Masters for Casa Italia
The exhibition path across the three venues is a true celebration of “saper fare” (know-how). Thanks to partners like B&B Italia, Edra, Flos, and Riva 1920, the spaces become living art galleries. Italian design shines through the works of icons such as Gaetano Pesce, Patricia Urquiola, and the Castiglioni brothers. These unique objects stimulate both the intellect and the senses, merging high craftsmanship with industrial vision.

Art and light for a global experience
Beyond furniture, Casa Italia hosts works by international artists such as Ai Weiwei and Keith Haring. Lighting by Enel enhances the venues with sustainable solutions, while the cuisine of Davide Oldani and Graziano Prest celebrates Italian taste. Italian design acts as an inspiring muse, transforming every location into a cultural hub.
Casa Italia 2026 confirms that sport and creativity are universal languages. Every detail of the project celebrates Italian design as a globally recognized excellence, capable of welcoming and inspiring both athletes and visitors alike.
