To celebrate 10 years of collaboration, Passoni Design, a Friulian company specializing in high-quality wooden furniture, and atelier oï, a renowned Swiss architectural firm, present Radice, a new collection of seats strongly inspired by nature.
Radice’s inspiring concept
For Passoni Design, every seat is a universe to be experimented and interpreted. Thanks to the collaboration of atelier oï, Radice Collection amplifies this desire to work with wood to give life to an element with a strong natural appeal. The name itself evokes woods with majestic trees and solid roots, which anchor and support, while wrapping around the plant and promoting the growth of branches. This concept inspired the idea of creating a wooden structure made of three legs, which are ‘rooted’ to ensure stability, while the main axis comes out of the ground and spreads out like branches to form the seat and the arms, evoking the shape of a tree.

Radice is available in two models: a chair with armrests and one without them, in which comfort, functional elegance and aesthetics come together as always in Passoni’s furniture. These two versions have been designed to perfectly suit different environments, from restaurants to professional conference rooms. A fresh and sophisticated proposal whose soft lines envelop the user in a warm embrace.
