ICFF-International Contemporary Furniture Fair, the most important design fair in North America, is back in May 2019, with the 31st edition. The 2018 edition hosted more than 900 exhibitors, from all categories related to furniture and interior architecture, furnishings, bathroom furniture, kitchen, lighting, floorings and wall coverings, fabrics and wallpapers.
The audience is highly specialized, mostly architects, interior designers, real estate developers, and other creative people. In addition, a good percentage of the 38,000 visitors come from retail stores, and the last day is open to the general public. ICFF is part of NYCxDesign, the official New York design week.
A section of ICFF, ICFF Gallery, is dedicated to art and design galleries. Over 60 galleries, artists and designers showcase their art and design creations, sculptures, textiles and more. Limited editions and objects of high craftsmanship can also be found here.
In recent years, ICFF has been joined by ICFF Contract, a new section offering the best solutions for commercial spaces, wall coverings, floor coverings, lighting and furniture. Exhibitors include Arper, Bernhardt Design, Blå Station, Humanscale, Kartell, Loftwall, Materia, Poppin and Scandinavian Spaces.
ICFF Studio, the competition sponsored by Bernhardt Design and now in its 14th year, is back in 2019. ICFF Studio offers young designers the opportunity to have visibility to a wide audience of professionals and companies.
Finally, Ventura Projects will also be present in New York, with Ventura New York – the Dutch edition, the collective exhibition managed by Organisation in Design, which brings to ICFF the best of Dutch design, 17 emerging and already famous designers and companies from Holland.
