EDIT Napoli, the trade show of design by designers, makes its debut in Naples June 7 to 9 (6 June, press preview and opening event by invitation only)
Conceived by Domitilla Dardi and Emilia Petruccelli, the exhibition hosts internationally renowned designers, craftsmen and brands, selected among the best on the market today.
The show is a quality alternative to the large furniture exhibitions, often too large and scattered, and to the very exclusive small design events dedicated to collectible design and limited editions. So, this trade fair focuses on selected designers and companies, with affordable products.
Brands and designers come both from Naples area, rich in craftsmen with an old history, and from all over Italy and Europe, with small and medium companies among the most representative of Made in Italy, and self-production.
Among the designers, there will be the French Constance Guisset; Nika Zupanc, Andrea Anastasio, and the Italian glass artist Simone Crestani; from Holland, Dirk Vander Kooij and Max Lipsey. Among the Italian exhibitors, we can mention GHIDINI 1961, De Castelli, and Bitossi Ceramiche.
There are also some new and interesting collaborations between designers and manufacturers such as Gumdesign with Alfaterna Marmi, Daniele Della Porta with B Beds 1967, BCXSY with Laboratorio Morseletto, Elisa Ossino with Nesite.
Made in EDIT
To highlight the trading soul of EDIT Napoli, the brand Made in EDIT was created to represent some collections especially created for this occasion. Local craftsmen worked with international designers on a program called “Residenze”, including objects and products designed by Khaled El Mays, Reinaldo Sanguino and Faberhama, and manufactured by craftsmen.
