“La stanza che non c’è” by Il Giardino di Corten

“La stanza che non c’è”: an idea to shelter objects or create a room either in the garden of your home or of a hotel

“La stanza che non c’è” is a small house that can be designed in different sizes to meet different needs. It is modular and easy to install since it can be placed directly on the ground or on the floor. Moreover, thermal insulation is guaranteed by single panels installed on the walls, while cor-ten offers mechanical strength and resistance to corrosion, despite limited thickness.

“La stanza che non c’è” was created by Il Giardino di Corten. It  is made of corten steel, a material with a strong personality, in continuous evolution, where the colors of the earth harmonize both in modern and more traditional contexts.

In residential settings, it can be used as a tool shed, a reading room, a study, a relaxation area or a sauna, a small shed for bicycles or a room for DIY projects. In a hospitality facility it can be turned into a wellness area, a reading room, a playroom or a warehouse. [Annamaria Maffina]
