For the 500th anniversary of Leonardo’s death, the company creates an installation at Museo di Santa Maria Novella, in Florence

From September 13th to December 15th, 2019, at Museo di Santa Maria Novella in Florence, it is possible to visit the exhibition dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci titled La Botanica di Leonardo. Per una nuova scienza tra arte e natura, a tribute to the great inventor and artist, and to his reflections on the “shapes and structures of the vegetal world, highlighting his original synthesis between art, nature and his scientific approach.”
This is a project by architecture practice Guicciardini & Magni in collaboration with lighting designer Fulvio Baldeschi. Direct lighting, designed by Linea Light Group, emphasizes the beauty of the works.
The entrance to the exhibition consists of a vertical garden with mirrors lit up by the Periskop spotlight with steel bracket, giving visitors the impression of a bigger space. Many spaces and paths are perfectly illuminated by the indirect light of Navata spotlights controlled by Dali – devices and systems by Linea Light Group.
