Landscape Festival will be back in Bergamo from 5 to 20 September 2020. An event for professionals and nature lovers dedicated to landscape design
From 5 to 20 September, Landscape Festival will be back in Bergamo. The event, now in its tenth edition, is organized by Arketipos and promoted by the Municipality of Bergamo and Regione Lombardia, thanks to Camera di Commercio and Uniacque, with the support of Il Legno dalla Natura alle Cose, Mapei and Fondazione Lombardia per l’Ambiente. The initiative offers its visitors two weeks of green events as well as many webinars on landscape design. A set of meetings and insights on living, discovering, designing and enhancing the landscape of Bergamo and more.
Landscape Festival 2020 and the new edition of Green Square, with the extraordinary participation of Michele de Lucchi
Landscape Festival 2020 presents a new edition of Green Square. This year Michele De Lucchi has reinterpreted the charming Piazza Vecchia in Bergamo from a green point of view. For this occasion, the Milanese architect has designed an installation of solid wood tables of various sizes, enriched with native and forest plants. Moreover, the group of Il Legno dalla Natura alle Cose built the tables designed by Michele De Lucchi.

Visitors will be able to purchase the plants and Michele de Lucchi’s tables with free donations. The proceeds will be used to support the first project of Green to the People, the new format created by Arketipos. Green to the People #01 entails the creation of a garden in the outdoor spaces of the Papa Giovanni XXIII hospital in Bergamo. An area with a strong symbolic value for the citizens of Bergamo, particularly in the year of the Covid-19 health emergency.
