#Designgoeson: furniture and design trade shows, in Italy and worldwide, are already rescheduling dates for 2022
The Covid-19 health emergency made furniture and design fairs around the world revise their entire schedules. At the beginning of the emergency it still seemed possible to simply postpone the dates by a few months, then it gradually became apparent that it was impossible to hold trade shows during 2020. The fairs scheduled for 2020, therefore, have been rescheduled between 2021 and 2022. Unfortunately, due to the internationals situation, some countries are already rescheduling trade shows for 2022.
Salone del Mobile.Milano and Fuorisalone
From September 5 to 10, 2021 was held Supersalone, a special event branded Salone del Mobile.Milano. Despite the current difficulties, Supersalone closed the 5-day special edition with a total of over 60 thousand visitors.
In addition to Salone del Mobile.Milano, many Fuorisalone events took place. As part of the Fuorisalone, DDN HUB, edition 2021, also came back.
The next Milan Salone del Mobile will take place in June, 7-12th, 2022.

Trade fairs dedicated to bathroom furniture and ceramic tiles
Klimahouse, originally scheduled for January 2022, is postponed to May, 18-21, 2022.
After an initial postponement to September 2020, Mostra Convegno Expocomfort, has definitively rescheduled the new dates, from June, 28, to July, 1st, 2022.
Cersaie, on the other hand, after the success of the 2021 edition, will be back again from 26 to 30 September 2022.
The home décor industry
HOMI Milano has been rescheduled, from 11 to 14, March, 2022.
Maison & Objet, the Paris exhibition, took place from 9 to 13 September 2021, with Paris Design Week from 9 to 18 September 2021. The next edition of Maison & Objet Paris is scheduled for March, 24th to 28th, 2022.
From March 12th to 20th, in Parma takes place Mercanteinfiera, a trade show dedicated to antiques, and twentieth century design. The trade fair is held at Fiere di Parma.
Special events dedicated to design and architecture
Architect@Work, the professional show dedicated to architects and businesses, in 2021 had only the Milan edition comes back. In 2022 are scheduled Architect@work Torino, October 5-6, and Architect@work Milano, October, 9-10.
Marmomac has been very successful, with the 2021 edition, and returns from 27 to 30 September 2022.
MADE Expo, the Milanese exhibition dedicated to construction, has been regularly held, November 22.25, 2021. The next edition is scheduled from 15 to 18 November 2023.
Equiphotel, one of the most important events dedicated to hospitality and catering, has been postponed to November 2022.
Design and furniture trade shows in North-Europe
The first trade show of the year, imm cologne, after its forced hiatus in 2021, cancelled also the 2022 edition, and the next one is scheduled for June, 4-7, 2023.
Domotex, scheduled for 13-16 January 2022, has been cancelled.
Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair is postponed to September, 6-9, 2022.
Heimtextil, organized by Messe Frankfurt from January 11 to 14, 2022, has been cancelled.
Light + Building, the biennial exhibition dedicated to technical lighting organized by Messe Frankfurt, has been postponed to October, 2-6, 2022.
Spoga + Gafa, the exhibition dedicated to outdoor lifestyle and garden furniture, is postponed to 2022, June 19-21.
ISH, in 2021 has been online only. The next edition is scheduled for March 13-17, 2023.
Interieur 2022, has been cancelled.

Orgatec, the biennial exhibition dedicated to the workplace and the contract sector, organized by Koelnmesse, will be held from 25 to 29 October 2022.
Design and furniture shows in the United States
ICFF, the design show usually held in May in New York, has been held on November 14-15, 2021. The next edition is coming back in the usual dates, May 15-17, 2022, in conjunction with WantedDesign, at the Jacob Javits Center.
High Point Market has returned to its regular dates. The next edition will take place from 2 to 6 April 2022.
DesignMiamiBasel is coming back, in June 2022, 14-19. DesignMiami will be held from 30 November to 4 December, 2022. In 2021, DesignMiami Shanghai debuted, November 5-14.
London Design Festival and Design London
The London Design Festival took place regularly, from 18 to 26 September 2021. The next edition takes place from 17 to 25 September 2022. 100% Design, which became Design London, was held from 22 to 25 September 2021 in a new location, Magazine London. The next edition takes place from 21 to 24 September 2022. London Design Fair returns in September 2023, dates yet to be confirmed, while Designjunction, which in the meantime has been acquired by a major international trade fair organisation, has not yet announced any plans.

Furniture trade shows in Asia and China
MIFF- Malaysian International Furniture Fair, in light of the pandemic situation, has scheduled new dates, July 6-9, 2022.
CIFF Guangzhou – the Guangzhou edition of China International Furniture Fair, at present is maybe the only furniture fair in the world which managed to hold the 2020 edition, albeit in a smaller form. The 2021 edition, therefore, has been regularly held in two phases, from March 18 to 21, and from March 28 to 31. The next edition, originally scheduled for 18-21 March, and 28-31 March, 2022, is currently postponed due to a Covid outbreak in Guangdong province.
CIFF Shanghai is rescheduled for new dates.
Furniture China, the international fair held in Shanghai in September every year, is back in September, 13-17, 2022.
Style Bangkok, has been rescheduled for 2022, with no dates yet.
Design Shanghai, took place on June 3-6 2021. The scheduled dates for the next edition are 9-12 June 2022.
Design China Beijing was held from 24 to 27 September 2021; in 2022 is scheduled for September, 21-23, 2022.
New for 2021 is Design Shenzhen, whose first edition was scheduled from 9 to 12 December 2021, but has been postponed to 2022.
Furniture and design shows in the Middle East
The Middle East Design & Hospitality Week is scheduled from 24 to 26 May 2022, in conjunction with Index Dubai.
