Clay and raw earth for innovative surfaces

Archi+ Argilla: the innovation that comes from the past

A material that has always been used in architecture, clay is once again the center of architects’ attention thanks to its sustainability and durability. Novacolor, in fact, proposes a new material based on lime and clay for eco-friendly decorative surfaces of high aesthetic value. Therefore, Archi+ Argilla surfaces apply innovation to ancient materials, clay and raw earth.

Formulated with natural clay, Archi+ Argilla is a plaster that can be applied in a single coat on new and pre-existing plaster made with hydraulic binders, plasterboard, organic or mineral coatings, absorbent mineral conglomerates. Different finishes and shades define Archi+ Argilla in our environments.

Archi+ Argilla proposes warm tones and ancient atmospheres that blend perfectly with Novacolor’s Tuscany Land color palette, with its earth and ochre nuances. The Archi+ line is part of Novacolor’s Minerals range, characterized by the use of natural components with low emissions of volatile organic compounds.

Novacolor has been redesigning its production chain for years with a new approach based on the concept of “Biomass Balance” and has replaced fossil raw materials with biomass from agricultural waste. Its products have obtained the A+ indoor air quality label; moreover, they have been the first in Italy to obtain the REDcert2 certificate, awarded to companies that invest in sustainable raw materials. The Archi+ Argilla proposals, like the entire Archi+ range, are designed to increasingly reduce their impact on the environment. In this way, Novacolor is actively participating in the mission to achieve climate neutrality in Europe by 2050.
