P&J table by Lago: the table that defies gravity (again)
At the Salone del Mobile.Milano 2019, Lago will debut P&J, the new table, designed by Daniele Lago, characterized by a fluid and harmonious shape, which seems to be floating in the air thanks to a skillful use of materials. The P&J table favors conviviality thanks to the optical effect of absent legs. Wooden top and legs are available in both Haywood and Agewood, in three sizes, with bullnose or squared corners.

P&J represents the ideal continuation of Bold, the table presented at the Salone del Mobile.Milano 2018, winner of the Good Design Award. The Bold table seems to defy gravity thanks to a brilliant idea. An off-center support holds an ultra-thin top; a shadow gives the illusion of levitation, as if the table were floating in the air.
Along with the Bold table, the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design, which assigns the Good Design Award, has awarded XGlass, an innovative technology that makes it possible to transfer images onto glass, reinterpreting various materials from marble to wood, up to metals and fabrics.
At the next edition of the Salone del Mobile.Milano, Lago will also present XGlass Home Couture in collaboration with Bonotto, a capsule collection of finishes that bring Bonotto’s experience in fabrics onto glass, for new finishes and decors. [Text Annamaria Maffina]
