The Salone Internazionale del Mobile is in its 58th edition and it will close on April 14th. The numbers of the 2019 edition are 205,000 sq m of exhibition space and over 2,400 exhibitors. Being an odd year, it hosts the Euroluce and Workplace 3.0 biennials. The protagonists of the 22nd SaloneSatellite are about 550 and this year’s theme is “FOOD as a DESIGN OBJECT”.
Moreover, the Salone del Mobile pays homage to Leonardo da Vinci, on the 500th anniversary of his death, adding the term “INGENUITY” to its Manifesto and dedicating him an installation at the fairgrounds: “De-Signo. The art of Italian design before and after Leonardo.”
During the Design Week, the Trienniale di Milano has inaugurated the Museo del Design Italiano, for the first time in a permanent exhibition.
Also our FuoriSalone event continues until Sunday, April 14th, on Piazza Castello, where you will find DDN Phutura, the exhibition dedicated to contemporary housing and living solutions.
