The 96th edition, from 11 to 14 June 2019, celebrates the 30th anniversary of the event dedicated to men’s fashion and lifestyle
Over 1,220 Italian and international brands celebrate the 30th anniversary of Pitti Immagine Uomo and preview their Spring-Summer 2020 menswear collections.
Lightness, comfort, performance and a ‘Club House’ style become the understated rule of the wardrobe. From deconstructed and calibrated jackets and suits in soft fabrics, to knitted and jersey garments of different gauges, comfortable tailored trousers, high-waisted shorts with pleats.
The charm of Havana pervades clothes in colors and patterns, accessories and Panama hats, alternating with the lively coasts of the American jet set, from Beverly Hills to Miami Beach. The first generation of luxury swimwear is characterized by refined aesthetics, sophisticated prints and attention to detail.
‘The Pitti Special Click’ is the theme developed by life stylist Sergio Colantuoni and photographer Emilio Tini in the pavilions of the fair. Unconventional, dedicated to luxury street style in its boldest variants, welcomes the avant-garde, while Make, The New Makers enhances the new generations of artisans from around the world.
At the heart of Pitti Uomo, the Central Pavilion reinterprets luxury and tailoring accompanied by interesting pop up stores.
The program features, among the collateral events of Pitti Immagine Uomo, the exhibition ‘Romanzo Breve di Moda Maschile’ at Museo della Moda e del Costume, Palazzo Pitti,(12 June – 29 September 2019), curated by Olivier Saillard, and special fashion shows by Givenchy, Salvatore Ferragamo, Sterling Ruby, MSGM, Marco De Vincenzo, just to name a few.
