Nike ZoomX Vista Grind is a new sneaker from the women’s collection, featuring a sole made of Grind, the recycled material from Nike. The chunky white midsole features green neon foam. The Grind sole provides stability and support for runners, and is both recycled and recyclable.
Designed by Georgina James, creative director of women’s collection at Nike, ZoomX Vista Grind is a further evolution of women’s running shoes, and carries on Nike’s research into the sustainability of products and production processes.
The brick-and-mortar store of the online store Luisaviaroma, on the occasion of its 90th anniversary, unveiled a special setup by Elena Salmistraro, for the launch of the Nike ZoomX Grind view. The star of the architectural work is the neon green foam inside the sole, which creates a sort of “foamy niche” with a totem in the center, standing up for the shoe.
A colorful world of comics, focused on the components of the shoe: the white and neon sole, chunky and white, the ultra-light semi-transparent fabric of the upper, the soft foam like a blob, the walls decorated with graphics.
Nike ZoomX vista Grind is on the market since July, 4th, 2019.
