CEA presents HOOK, the modular and functional tap system designed by Parisotto + Formenton and Natalino Malasorti
HOOK is the new project by CEA, a tap system made of AISI 316L stainless steel. Stainless steel is 100% recyclable, and AISI 316/L steel has better corrosion resistance and better mechanical strength, making it a perfect material for an innovative and versatile product. Inspired by the old plumbing pipes that used to run outside the walls, HOOK is designed to offer running water in every situation, both indoors and outdoors.
Besides transporting water, HOOK’s steel tubes can perform other functions thanks to modular support brackets that act as support elements. The wall mounting of the plumbing system makes it possible to install both the tubular element and the taps. In this way, it is also possible to perform functions such as washing or watering plants.
Designed mainly for outdoor use, HOOK is ideal for indoor environments such as bathrooms and kitchens. In the bathroom, for example, it can link the washbasin, bidet, shower, acting as a tap system and towel holder at the same time.
The soft and ergonomic shape of the handle is reminiscent of a smooth pebble. Its multifunctionality, compositional flexibility and easy installation make HOOK capable of fully meeting the needs of any project.
