Volcanic luxury in Santorini: where Vimar technology meets landscape design

At Magma Resort, the first Hyatt Unbound Collection hotel in Greece, Vimar brings smart innovation to a new concept of sustainable hospitality

Set among cultivated terraces and overlooking the Aegean Sea, Magma Resort in Santorini redefines Mediterranean luxury. Designed by Studio People, the complex embraces the island’s volcanic identity through a clean architectural language, where local materials—lava stone, tuff, and wood—merge with pure geometries and seamless surfaces.

Built into the natural slope, the resort features underground common areas and panoramic rooms surrounded by vineyards. The 59 suites, each with a private pool, reinterpret Cycladic architecture in a contemporary key.

Integrated technology for mindful comfort

Arké Classic by Vimar plays a central role in the design narrative. The collection, chosen in its total black version with home automation controls, enhances the resort’s contemporary aesthetic and supports its high-tech functionality.
With sharp lines, minimal geometry, and a clean profile, Arké plates blend seamlessly into the architectural language. The integrated smart system allows guests to control lighting, temperature, and comfort settings with ease, while optimizing energy efficiency.

Smart solutions for sustainable luxury

With over 200 functions and international standards compatibility, Arké Classic offers a flexible system tailored for modern hospitality needs.
Magma Resort adopts high-efficiency technologies, intelligent energy management, and bioclimatic architecture to reduce environmental impact. This vision aligns with Vimar’s mission: to deliver positive energy through smart, sustainable solutions.
