Busnelli 2025 – The Classy Outlaw of Furniture

Refined rebellion between sofas and armchairs redefining contemporary design

Founded in 1953 by Franco Busnelli in Meda, the company has written fundamental pages in the history of Italian design. The iconic Fiocco and Libro armchairs, now exhibited at MoMA in New York, showcase a unique ability to blend aesthetics, ergonomics, and innovation. This pioneering attitude continues to inspire each collection, turning Busnelli sofas and armchairs into symbols of style and comfort.

Evolution and vision 2025

Since 2021, with its entry into We.Do Holding Spa, Busnelli has embarked on a growth path that in 2025 strengthens with the appointment of Daniele Lo Scalzo Moscheri as new Art Director. His vision has introduced an unprecedented design language, the so-called Crossover Style: a balance between timeless elegance and a spirit that dares to break conventions.
Two milestones mark this evolution: the opening of Busnelli Studio in Milan, a creative hub dedicated to designers and architects, and the launch of the 2025 Collection, where sofas and armchairs embody the The Classy Outlaw philosophy.

BAGUETTE. The sofa that breaks the rules

Deconstructed elegance, outstanding craftsmanship, and sculpted comfort in the design by Daniele Lo Scalzo Moscheri. Baguette is not just a sofa, but a project that elevates furniture into a true statement of style. Its deconstructed aesthetics express a contemporary, youthful, and elegantly nonconformist character, a tribute to Italian superior craftsmanship where every detail merges beauty and function.
Its volumes are shaped into separate portions that, while maintaining a continuous form, create an organic and curvilinear effect. The result is a bold, sculptural, and welcoming presence, able to dialogue with refined and personal interiors.

BANGLE. The rebellious jewel of the living space

Designed by the Controvento creative team (Gabriele Chiave, Mauro Martinuzzi, Giulia Zia), Bangle draws inspiration from the circular bracelet of the same name. A sculpture to live in, it combines retro elegance and 1970s spirit, turning the living room into a bold and unconventional environment.
Its oversized tubular structure wraps around the seat like a precious jewel, reviving the rebellious charm of a decade that knew how to push boundaries. Modular and versatile, Bangle pays homage to Busnelli’s heritage by reinterpreting the iconic tubular aesthetics of the 1960s and ’70s in a contemporary key. Premium and sustainable materials, fine leathers, and textured fabrics enhance a piece that becomes a true manifesto of style.

ECLIPSE. The suspended balance between light and shadow

Designed by Matteo Nunziati, Eclipse is an armchair exploring the delicate balance between reason and emotion, light and darkness. Inspired by the last track of The Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd, the chair embodies a poetic and fluid vision, suspended in time like a surreal Dalí landscape.
Its curved shell and tapered, lightweight base create a harmonious and dynamic silhouette, where form and meaning intertwine. Eclipse is more than an object: it is a metaphor for transformation, an invitation to reconnect with calm and introspection.

TURTLE. An icon of calm and protection

Created by Daniele Lo Scalzo Moscheri, the Turtle armchair is inspired by the strength and equilibrium of the tortoise. The seat is divided into distinct elements held together by a continuous outline, defining a compact yet sculptural silhouette.
Turtle becomes a domestic refuge, an armchair that invites to slow down, breathe, and reclaim personal space. More than just seating, it’s a symbol of protection and inner balance.

Busnelli Studio: the creative heart in Milan

In the center of the city, on the seventh floor of Corso Europa 22, the new Busnelli Studio is conceived as an experiential space. Not just a showroom, but a laboratory where architects and interior designers engage with products through sensory installations. Here, sofas and armchairs become protagonists of unique settings, narrating the character and vision of the brand.

The Classy Outlaw: philosophy and style

Busnelli interprets design with a distinctive identity: sartorial elegance combined with creative rebellion. Every sofa and armchair becomes an expression of independence, quality, and experimentation. The result is furniture that doesn’t simply follow trends but anticipates them.

For Busnelli, 2025 marks a new chapter: a brand evolving with boldness while preserving its historical roots. The sofas and armchairs of the 2025 Collection embody the The Classy Outlaw spirit, where class and rebellion coexist in a design vision that inspires the future.
