The Opera bioclimatic pergola as the centerpiece of the “Under The Apulian Sky” project in Valle d’Itria
In the heart of Valle d’Itria, the holiday home “Under The Apulian Sky” introduces a concept of hospitality that feels both authentic and contemporary. Here, the charm of traditional Apulian architecture blends with modern comfort, transforming trulli and lamie into a luxury retreat surrounded by nature. The large outdoor area, overlooking the pool, becomes the core of open-air living thanks to Opera by Pratic, the bioclimatic pergola that perfectly balances design and functionality.

Opera by Pratic: comfort and flexibility
Developed together with local dealer Tenda In in Martina Franca, Opera integrates with the existing wooden pergola, extending the outdoor living space of the lamia. Its adjustable louvered roof, which rotates from zero to 140 degrees, allows precise control of shading and natural ventilation. On sunny days, it ensures a cool and breezy environment; during light rain, the louvers close and channel water through integrated gutters in the structure.

A new en plein air living room
Covering 24 square meters, Opera becomes the heart of convivial outdoor experiences. Breakfasts, lunches, and dinners find their perfect setting under the pergola, where a large dining table welcomes all guests of the holiday home. By day, Opera turns into a fresh relaxation area for loungers and deck chairs, with light easily adjusted through a handy remote control. At nightfall, the atmosphere comes alive with dimmable Quadra Light LEDs integrated into the louvers, complemented by floor lamps connected directly to the pergola.

Essential design, seamless integration
Opera stands out for its clean lines and essential design, blending harmoniously with the Apulian landscape. The self-supporting white structure echoes the traditional shades of local architecture and rests on light stone paving. Pratic’s certified coatings ensure resistance to UV rays and humidity, guaranteeing both durability and sustainability. The result is an outdoor environment that fuses nature and architecture, enhancing the timeless beauty of Valle d’Itria.
