After its global success, Balloon Museum returns to Milan with a groundbreaking inflatable art show blending emotion, interaction, and visionary design
After its global success, Balloon Museum returns to Milan, bringing with it Euphoяia – Art is in the Air, the immersive exhibition that has already captivated Paris, New York, Singapore, and London. From October 18, 2025, to February 22, 2026, Area MilanoSesto becomes the beating heart of international inflatable art.

This is not your typical exhibition. It’s a sensory playground, a journey through interactive installations designed to awe, engage, and inspire. Over 7 million visitors have experienced the magic across 17 international stops — now, it’s Milan’s turn.
Euphoяia: inflatable art, tangible emotion
The name says it all. Euphoяia – Art is in the Air celebrates air as a creative medium and euphoria as a shared human experience. Here, inflatable artworks go beyond aesthetics — they invite participation, play, and deep reflection.

Spanning over 5,000 square meters, the exhibition space transforms into a living, breathing environment where movement, scale, and sensation converge in surprising ways.
Meet the artists redefining space
Curated by Valentino Catricalà in collaboration with Lux Entertainment, the exhibition brings together 16 international artists and collectives pushing the boundaries of art, technology, and interaction:
- Philippe Parreno (France): a master of evolving, time-based installations that play with perception and space.
- A.A. Murakami (UK/Japan): a duo merging nature and tech to explore the ephemeral and the intangible.
- Hyperstudio (Italy): creators of immersive worlds blending light, design, and storytelling into emotional ecosystems.
- Martin Creed (UK): Turner Prize-winner turning everyday materials into art through minimalism, irony, and experimentation.

Also featured: Ryan Gander, Karina Smigla-Bobinski, Cyril Lancelin, Camille Walala, SPY, Nils Völker, Sun Yitian, and more. Every installation offers a portal to a new sensory and conceptual dimension.
Light as air, deep in meaning
Don’t let the playfulness fool you. Euphoяia is as thought-provoking as it is Instagrammable. The show addresses today’s urgent themes, including: sustainable creativity and material reuse; the human body’s dialogue with space; the viewer’s active role in the art experience and, the hybridization of digital and physical worlds.
In an age of exclusivity, Balloon Museum opens up the art world. Here, everyone’s invited to feel, play, and connect.

A new cultural hub for Milan
The choice of Area MilanoSesto is strategic. Once an industrial zone, now a hotspot for cultural regeneration, it offers the perfect stage for this contemporary art spectacle. With Euphoяia, Milan cements its role as a leading European hub for immersive and interactive art.
