The eighth edition of the editorial design fair returns: a bridge between matter, responsibility, and new business opportunities in the shadow of Vesuvius
Naples confirms its status as a capital of signature design. The Open Call for the eighth edition of EDIT Napoli 2026 is officially open. This innovative event dedicated to editorial design is scheduled to take place from October 9 to 11, 2026, at the La Santissima complex. With the new claim “Where Design Shapes,” the fair reaffirms its mission: putting the creative process, material research, and the social responsibility of the project back at the center.
In an era of ephemeral images and fleeting trends, EDIT Napoli 2026 chooses to take a cultural stand. It is not just an exhibition, but a platform where the complexity of “making design” generates real value and material culture.

An Ecosystem of Business and Global Connections
In recent years, EDIT Napoli 2026 has consolidated its role as a strategic node in an international network. The fair is not limited to the three-day exhibition; it activates ongoing collaborations with institutions such as the Instituto Cervantes and prestigious academies.
The added value for exhibitors lies in the fair’s ability to create cross-sector synergies with high-spending industries like luxury hospitality, retail, and fashion. Thanks to international juries that have featured names like Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche and Jumeirah Capri Palace, participating in EDIT Napoli 2026 means interfacing with global stakeholders capable of transforming a prototype into a market opportunity.

Open Call 2026: Designers and the “Seminario” for Under-30s
The invitation to participate is extended to independent designers, editors, artisans, and manufacturers who make quality and supply chain sustainability their trademark. Alongside the Main area, the fair confirms the success of the Seminario: the special section dedicated to talents under 30 or companies founded less than three years ago. This is where emerging practices find a structured curatorial context to grow and gain notice in the international market.

Beyond the Exhibition: EDIT CULT and Education
The EDIT Napoli 2026 program will be enriched by the famous EDIT CULT—distributed interventions in historic locations throughout the city that create curated narratives and unique dialogues with the local territory. The 2026 edition will also expand its cultural offering with talks and workshops focused on the relationship between design and professional communities.
As highlighted by curator Domitilla Dardi, the theme “Where Design Shapes” is an invitation to slow down and measure the value of design not in pure aesthetics, but in its ability to consciously shape the surrounding reality.
