Glass Architecture Meets the Bathroom: The Oltre Revolution

Meneghello Paolelli signs the new equipped column for Cesana: a modular and flexible system that goes beyond the shower enclosure to furnish the entire bathroom environment

In 2026, the Oltre project—designed by the renowned Meneghello Paolelli studio for Cesana—takes a major step forward. The system expands with a new equipped column created to transcend the traditional boundaries of the shower enclosure. The goal is clear: to turn a simple framing profile into a genuine, functional piece of furniture for the whole room.

The design philosophy stays true to its roots. The aluminum profile does not merely hold the glass panels. Instead, it organizes space, defines vertical flow, and establishes a visual connection with the other elements in the room.

Seamless Integration and Tailored Flexibility

The new equipped column acts as a direct extension of the shower enclosure. It clips onto the main profile to form a single continuous, fluid, and elegant feature.

  • Customizable dimensions: The standard version stands two meters high and includes four shelves. Heights and shelf counts can be tailored to suit any project.
  • Aesthetic consistency: The module comes in the exact same finishes as the Oltre profile, preserving the signature vertical texture that enhances the space.
  • Long-term versatility: The shelves adjust freely along the column to hold items and products of any size.

Smart, Drill-Free Installation

One of the main strengths of the design is its easy assembly. The new equipped column mounts directly onto the shower enclosure profile, requiring no drilling into walls or tiles.

This feature makes the structure exceptionally versatile. You can add it long after the initial shower installation, upgrading the space without dust or complex construction work.

With this release, Cesana and Meneghello Paolelli reaffirm the vision behind Oltre: an open, modular ecosystem built to evolve alongside the needs of those who live in it.
