Discover menswear and lifestyle collections for Autumn/Winter 2019/2020 from Portugal to Scandinavia, along with very trendy sections and special events
From 8 to 11 January 2019 menswear and lifestyle collections for the Autumn/Winter 2019/2020 season are presented in Florence.
Pitti Immagine Uomo is the first global event of the season showing the latest trends in menswear with a focus on the passion for outdoor and anything that has a fashion attitude, including sportswear and young street style proposals. Without forgetting its core represented by sartorial tradition and craftsmanship, the focus of Pitti Uomo since the beginnings, an event that gathers Italian and international excellences and the companies that represent the new classic elegance.
The guest nation of the 95th edition is Portugal with the protagonists of its famous fashion week and collections by Caiagua, Ecolã, Hugo Costa, Ideal & Co, Labuta, Nycole, Poente and Westmister, while Scandinavia presents a selection of collections by fashion designers from Denmark, Sweden and Norway, such as Forét, Garment Project, Henrik Vibskov, Holzweiler, Hope, Indigofera, Klättermusen, Mfpen, Newline Halo, Norse Projects, Rue De Tokyo, Schnayderman’s, Soulland, Tonsure, Unridden, Whyred.
The sections including over 1,230 brands are not to be missed, including the laboratory focused on avant-garde contemporary-classic menswear ‘Futuro Maschile’, the project that interprets outdoor style, the premium street style section ‘Unconventional’, the eclectic wardrobes of ‘Touch!’, the new generations of craftspeople gathered in ‘Make, The New Makers’, contemporary classic style in the central pavilion, avant-garde and sportswear proposals in the ‘L’altro Uomo’, ‘I Play’, ‘Urban Panorama’, ‘My Factory’ sections.
To accompany the fair, some special events will take place throughout the city, along with tributes to the Nineties of the Levi’s Engineered Jeans; the project by Belgian designer Glenn Martens, creative director of Y/Project; Aldo Maria Camillo’s debut with the eponymous brand after a professional path made of prestigious collaborations – from Ermenegildo Zegna to Valentino, from Cerruti to Berluti – to illustrate the ideal wardrobe of the modern-day man; the anniversaries of Moon Boot, Diadora and Barbour; the special initiatives organized by Allegri, Herno, John Varvados, Reda, Rossignol, Les Hommes, Best Company, Ellesse, and many others.
