Pitti Immagine Filati Launches the ‘Tech & Luxury’ Trend

Pitti Immagine Filati opens today in Florence with an evocative installation, Tecno-Luxury by Carvico and Jersey Lomellina

For the 84th edition of Pitti Immagine Filati (Florence, 23-25 January 2019), the two well-known brands of tech fabrics Carvico and Jersey Lomellina have created TECHNO-LUXURY, an original and evocative installation in the atrium of Fortezza da Basso.

The two brands, leaders in the textile industry and symbols of Made in Italy, have designed a perfect combination of colors and materials, in line with the trends of the next season. In fact, thanks to the next Tokyo 2020 Olympics, sport has drawn great attention and street style contaminates high fashion, creating new combinations of knitwear and technical fibers.

Techno-Luxury aims to be an amalgam of emotions and colors, representing the next aesthetic revolution. Designed to reduce the gap between technical and precious – two segments that are increasingly close – the installation enhances the great experience of Carvico and Jersey Lomellina in streetwear and beachwear, inspires contaminations, designs a new style and shapes next season’s trends, between luxury and comfort.
