DDN Phutura will be at the Fuorisalone during the Milan Design Week. Design, sustainability and smart mobility will be on show on Piazza Castello from 9 to 14 April
The Milan Design Week 2019 is coming and, as we said in the last weeks here and here, Design Diffusion News will take part in the Fuorisalone. From 9 to 14 April, in the space surrounding the Sforza Castle, it will present DDN PHUTURA, an edutainment path including amazing installations that will allow visitors to learn about the innovative solutions that favor the relationships between human beings, in a digital and immersive way, paying attention to the environment and using technology in the best possible way.
Tourism: eco-sustainable mobile homes by Crippa Concept
Crippa Concept, a new brand of Crippacampeggio – a company that has been designing and making high-quality tents for tour operators, campsites and holiday villages –, stands out for the design and production of mobile homes characterized by a green and refined design, future-oriented and designed to last.

At DDN Phutura, Crippa Concept will exhibit Queenslander to show its concept of glamping. Covered with ecological 3D panels and furnished with fabrics featuring white, light and darker blue details, Queenslander will be a slice of heaven during Milan Design Week.
An interactive mirror for Tommy Hilfiger sunglasses
During the Milan Design Week 2019, at DDN Phutura on piazza Castello, Tommy Hilfiger Eyewear by Safilo will present an interactive installation where fashion and design meet for a hyper-technological project. Visitors will be able to use a special mirror that will scan their face and collect anatomical data to recommend the best Tommy Hilfiger glasses for their face.
On this occasion, the stand on Piazza Castello will showcase Tommy Hilfiger SS 2019 collection of glasses and sunglasses inspired by the bright neon lights that illuminate the busiest cities. Great classics reinterpreted with a modern twist.
Sustainability and ecology meet design at the talks by DDN Phutura
From 9 to 14 April the talk area of DDN Phutura, located in one of the two beautiful La Fenice greenhouses by Privitera Eventi, will host many meetings with prominent figures. After sociologist and essayist Francesco Morace and the Italy-China forum involving the most important eastern architects and designers, it will be the turn of the Saviola Group, which will present a special focus on circular economy, a concrete example since 1992; speaker: Enrico Canoro (Marketing Manager Saviola Holding). On April 12, the themes will be smart mobility with Andrea Giaretta (General Manager Italy) and Matthieu Faure (Head of Marketing & Communications) of Dutch startup Dott, and the latest camping trend, ‘glamping’, with a talk presented by Crippa Concept.
