Safe and sustainable micro-mobility. Dutch startup Dott launches its electric scooter sharing service at DDN Phutura, the Fuorisalone event on Piazza Castello from 9 to 14 April
Dott is a European startup, founded by Maxim Romain and Henri Moissinac, specializing in micro-mobility, relying on the most qualified team of mobility and technology experts in Europe. Dott’s mission is to design a safe and comfortable mobility experience, for a pleasant travel experience with Dott sharing kick scooters.
Dott has created a list of ten commitments that will allow the company to have a responsible and collaborative approach to the cities. Before expanding to other cities, Dott is already active in Brussels and Paris with its kick scooters. In addition to them, it is also developing pedal-assisted bikes. Dott raised an initial €20 million investment, co-financed by EQT Ventures and Naspers and various backers and business angels in Europe.
Dott is DDN Phutura’s mobility partner. In the area facing the Castello Sforzesco (Sforza Castle), 80 Dott kick scooters will be available for free test drives and rental, to allow the visitors to move faster around the area of the event, during Milan Design Week. [Giuseppe D’Orsi]
