Galao Design Studio’s versatility at the SaloneSatellite 2019

Rolling Shoes is a modular shoe, composed by three parts, in rubber and faux leather, designed by Giuseppe Galetta and Irene Continisio. Each part can be replaced when it is worn out.

After graduating in Industrial Design in 2015 and collaborating with many leading figures on Italian design scene, Giuseppe Galetta, on the occasion of this year’s SaloneSatellite, founded Galao design studio.

Galao Design Studio focuses on the study and research in several disciplinary fields, analyzing the entire lifecycle of the product, considering aspects such as interaction and sociability, the ability of the product to be transformed and sustainability.

Valentina is the perfect packaging for ice cream cones. Made of recyclable paper, it is an ice cream cone holder that offers a new sharing experience of take-away ice cream, eliminating traditional paper and plastic cups.

The collection presented by Galao Design Studio during the SaloneSatellite represents all these factors without neglecting the versatility, elegance and functionality of the object.

Valentina, designed by Giuseppe Galetta, Ojabo Finbarr and Danaa Samik, makes it possible to optimize the work of the ice cream maker in terms of time and space.
