When the Force of Star Wars Becomes a Furniture Collection

Filipino designer Kenneth Cobonpue creates the first furniture collection inspired by the famous Star Wars saga

The force has awakened in Star Wars fans this year. Before the release of the new chapter of the famous saga in December 2019, Disney has decided to collaborate with Filipino designer Kenneth Cobonpue to create a furniture collection … from outer space.

Cobonpue presented the collection in the Philippines months ago and it has been available at selected retailers and showrooms across the United States since June. From the Chewbecca hair stools, to mini lightsaber-wielding Jedi lamps, to the seats that recall the shape of the famous spaceships, this collection is every fans’ dream.

The collection, designed for both indoor and outdoor use, in white/grey and black/red, combines elegance with nerdiness, perfectly adapting to modern environments. [Giuseppe D’Orsi]
