This year’ s special exhibition at Cersaie 2019 is Famous Bathrooms, a selection of settings inspired by popular personalities, curated by Angelo Dall’Aglio and Davide Vercelli. Famous Bathrooms showcases bathroom products in settings inspired by art galleries, with a few pieces selected for each set.
The characters involved in the exhibition come from the most diverse fields, music, art, cinema, science, and more. From the Beatles to Sigmund Freud, from Coco Chanel to Piet Mondrian, from Le Corbusier to Maria Callas, the personalities will impress their own style in the bathroom, to create different designs that can be fitted in real spaces.
Philippe Daverio , a renowned italian art critic, will introduce the exhibition. Displaying the best of made in Italy in bathroom furniture, the show highlights italian quality and unmistakable design. In the central area of the exhibition space, will be set up a special stage for talks and wine tasting.
Famous Bathrooms is the sixth in a series of special exhibitions – CerSea in 2014, CerStile in 2015, CerSail Italian Style Concept in 2016, Milleluci in 2017, and The Sound of Design Italian Style Contract in 2018. Previous exhibitions have been very successful with a total of 44,7000 visitors, confirming the high quality of the exhibition format.
