Flos has appointed Milanese architect duo Fabio Calvi and Paolo Brambilla as Design Curators
This decision came as part of the company’s strategic development programme, drawn up and put in place by Roberta Silva, just a few months after she joined Flos as Chief Executive Officer. Flos has been part of Design Holding for a year now, the largest global group in high-end interior design, founded in November 2018 by Investindustrial and The Carlyle Group, which also includes B&B Italia, Louis Poulsen and Arclinea.

This is the first time that Flos has had external product design curators in addition to the art director. The Design Curators will guarantee continuity with the past as to the creative stage, while ensuring a better structured, more efficient product development process.
Flos has four collections, Flos Home, Flos Architectural, Flos Outdoor and Flos Bespoke, which offer integrated indoor and outdoor lighting solutions. Therefore the company has to coordinate the production of different product lines, in a constantly evolving and increasingly competitive market.
Calvi and Brambilla have designed several booths for Flos, its flagship store and the Design Holding booth at the Salone del Mobile 2019.
