In September 2020, to coincide with the launch of Design London, Greenwich Peninsula will welcome London’s first purpose-built Design District, bringing together 1,800 creatives to create a new kind of community. This new community will be involved in urban redevelopment thanks to its contribution (also) in terms of architecture and design.

Greenwich Peninsula is a new development area in London, home to the Millennium Dome, among others. In 2017 property developer Knight Dragon entrusted Santiago Calatrava with the master plan. The architect of the Reggio Emilia Mediogrande Padana high speed train station has designed an overall development plan for this area, which is underway.
Design London will add the Design District in Greenwich Peninsula to the other destinations of the London Design Festival, London Design Fair, Designjunction, several districts and projects.

See you in London then, from 16 to 19 September, for the first edition of Design London – the 26th edition of 100% Design. The new website is DesignLondon.co.uk
