The President and CEO of Arper, Claudio Feltrin, is the new President of FederlegnoArredo for 2020-2024
On October 29, 2020, the General Assembly of FederlegnoArredo appointed Claudio Feltrin as President for the next four years. The President and CEO of Treviso-based company Arper, Claudio Feltrin, who succeeds Emanuele Orsini, has been a member of the Board of Directors of Assarredo since 2014, of which he was President until a few days ago, when Maria Porro, from the homonymous company, was appointed in his place.
Vision and action for FederlegnoArredo
“First of all, I would like to thank all those who have supported me in this adventure, which promises to be an uphill task, given the moment we are experiencing. Since I am aware of this – explains Feltrin – my motto for the next 4 years will be ‘vision and action’: we must start from a concrete analysis of the needs of member companies to act promptly. In this regard, I thought it appropriate to send a letter to the Government first of all, in agreement with Federmobili, to ask that our supply chain remains operational whatever the scenario of the coming days.
We have asked to continue to produce, sell, deliver and assemble our products in full compliance with anti-Covid regulations. The goal is not only to safeguard our companies and their employees, but to allow one of the country’s driving industries to keep generating GDP.”

A program to go towards the future
The program of the new President of FederlegnoArredo is based on some key points: sustainability and access to resources; creation of a network for the wood supply chain; skills training to develop entrepreneurial culture through human capital; drive towards product and process innovation; digitization and consequent evolution of the way of doing business to prepare companies to face the changes that are rapidly occurring, including the way trade fairs are held. In addition to these, a new model of governance of the Federation, whose main goal is efficiency, in order to better meet companies’ needs.
