HOMI Independent. From September 16 to 19, 2022, at Rho-Fieramilano, the trade show event dedicated to home goods
In September, HOMI returns to Rho-Fieramilano, with its proposals for furniture complements and objects; home textiles and fabrics; fragrances; table and kitchen accessories. HOMI Independent, 2022 edition, will pay special attention to the independent retail world. Today’s professionals facing new and essential challenges in the shopping experience will find ideas and inspiration there.
It is an important opportunity for all players in the industry to get together; visitors find creativity and business opportunities among the vast and selected ranges of home accessories. Moreover, innovative and smart accessories, room fragrances, textiles, tableware, kitchen accessories, giftware, and decorations for the coming Christmas season are available to the highly qualified audience.
The broad and diverse offer lets visitors preview new products from companies and home trends. Along with the novelties of Italian and foreign brands, professionals visitors can attend different workshops and training meetings and they will also find some special areas.

KI-LIFE
In September 2022, HOMI will also present Ki-Life, a space dedicated to sustainability. Here they will exhibit the winners of the Ki-Life Sustainable Award, assigned for the first time at HOMI, in March 2022. Divided into four categories – Environmental, Territorial, Social, and All-round Sustainability -, the award is dedicated to projects and products with a view to Sustainable Development, Environmental Respect, and Social Responsibility. The next Ki-Life Award will be at HOMI in January 2023.
In September 2022, at HOMI Independent: Kids Room
Kids Room is a new space that will host about 30 Italian and international brands, specializing in children’s products that stand out for quality, design and sustainability. A new source of inspiration for visitors to the exhibition, it is organized with Unduetrestella, a Milan-based agency that provides communication for companies that deal with childhood creatively and artistically.
Christmas window displays at HOMI
A specific section is dedicated to the most popular holiday; here, you can find new inspirations, ideas and suggestions for the upcoming Christmas window displays. In collaboration with Candyslab.
Training at HOMI
HOMI offers a program of seminars curated by Platform Architecture and Design, to further enrich and complement the offerings. The workshops will present various projects to provide a broad overview of international retail, from Copenhagen to London, Shanghai to Madrid, Paris to New York, and Los Angeles.
Among the meetings focused on education, several speeches will be made in collaboration with the Foundation of the Order of Architects of the Province of Milan, dedicated to retail design techniques.

COFFEE EXPERIENCE arrives at HOMI
This new event, produced in collaboration with ALTOGA – National Association of Coffee Roasters, Importers Of Coffee and Food Wholesalers, and with the support of Aicaf, is dedicated to delving into the business opportunities around coffee sales and tasting. From the cup to the coffee machine, from the coffee maker to table accessories, the world of coffee will reveal its secrets. In fact, tastings will take place every day within HOMI Coffee Experience. In addition, several mini-masters will be held on various topics; from mocha brewing methods to tips on using the most suitable cups, to coffee-based aperitifs and cocktails.
