Freedhome by Caccaro: the customized wall unit for the sleeping and living areas
The first modular furniture system launched by Caccaro in 2018, Freedhome, consists of very capacious modules that can store objects and decorate the entire wall surface. In fact, Freedhome offers storage modules that can also form partitions, making it possible to gain space in various rooms. Moreover, thanks to its modules and finishes, Freedhome is perfect for furnishing all rooms in the house, which makes it an ideal element for the living area, and for obtaining a customized total look.
Freedhome Camerino
Camerino is the deepest module in the Freedhome system and a very innovative one thanks to its patented U-shaped structure and full-opening system. Full opening is a mechanism based on levers and arms operated by magnetic pistons, allowing the doors to open with a smooth, silent movement and to enhance the module’s profile once opened. Basically, Camerino becomes a room within the room, where everything is visible and within reach, thanks to the shelves’ small depth.
This solution is ideal for the kitchen area, for storing kitchenware, food and more. An LED light on the top of the module is activated when the door is opened, softly illuminating the interior. Camerino’s practicality is combined with elegant finishes, glass doors, wood back panels and lacquered shelves.

Freedhome Passaggio Porta
A partition wall in its own right: this is Freedhome Passaggio Porta, a double-sided wall unit that can perform several storage functions. The thickness of the wall can turn into a bookcase and accommodate wooden shelves. Other modules closed by glass framed doors can also be attached to Passaggio Porta (as in this case), accommodating precious objects and allowing for glimpses of the walnut backs. In these compositions, space is used to the fullest, with no waste even on the door side. All elements are easy to reach thanks to interior lighting.
Freedhome Kera
Freedhome acquires further expressive potential also in the living area, thanks to new materials introduced in 2022. Among them, we can mention Kera, a thin 4 mm thick ceramic slab, which is applied to hinged doors and reproduces the texture of marble. Pictured here, Kera Sahara Noir features marked veins that give the composition for the living area a streamlined look and create warm decorative textures. Two mirrored bookcases emphasize the perfect symmetry of the composition ending with L-shaped terminals. In this way, the wall accommodates an interplay of solids and voids, reinterpreting the concept of bookcase for the living area.
Freedhome TV set composition
According to Caccaro’s philosophy, wall units are divided into two major categories. On the one hand, there are wall-mounted lightweight storage units that play with the wall’s voids to create graphic compositions of lines and lights. These are the solutions that can be achieved with the Wallover System. When, on the other hand, the priority is having objects neatly stored while organizing the entire wall surface as best as possible, the solution is Freedhome. Both options include TV modules, in different sizes.
The composition in this image occupies an entire niche in the living area, thanks to Freedhome’s flexibility in size. A panel in Kera Nero Marquinia houses an 85-inch TV. The LED panel on the back of the screen enlivens Kera’s grain and facilitates TV viewing in any lighting condition. Surrounding the screen are closed compartments with drop-down doors at the top, and full-extension drawers at the bottom, to accommodate what doesn’t always need to be at hand.
Freedhome Noce/Walnut
Thanks to the management of all production steps from a 4.0 perspective, the wood veneers of all doors in the composition come from a single plant. This continuity creates a regular and harmonious pattern that transforms the wall into a kind of boiserie. The wall can accommodate niches whose back panel has the same walnut finish; on the top of the compartment is a recessed LED that can be adjusted by remote control.
