In Lusail, Qatar, Qetaifan Projects designs Qetaifan Island North, an artificial island housing the first residences by Elie Saab
On a 1.3-square-kilometer triangular plot north of the Lusail coastline, Qetaifan Island North accommodates beach clubs, hotels, residences, a school, a medical center, a mosque, and a water park with dozens of rides and attractions inspired by Qatari culture and economy. Among them there is also The Icon Tower area, located on a small island facing the district, with an 85-meter-high waterslide.

The main artery of the island is the linear park, which is dotted with stores and restaurants: an artificial salt canal connected to the sea, where it is possible to enjoy sports such as fishing and boating as well as many other activities. The project is led by Qetaifan Projects, a real estate development company established in 2017, and is just one of the various projects of sustainable smart cities included in Qatar’s long-term economic vision.
Les Vagues luxury residences by Elie Saab
Qetaifan Island North also comprises the Les Vagues residences by Elie Saab developed by Dar Al Arkan Properties, the real estate unit of Dar Al Arkan Real Estate Development, a public company listed on the Saudi stock exchange. Les Vagues, which means “the waves” in French, is a complex of luxury buildings with a contemporary and essential style. These minimalist buildings perfectly complement the Qatari seascapes, with large beaches and endless horizons.

There are 70 sea-view residences with one, two, or three bedrooms. All of the apartments have balconies, terraces and floor-to-ceiling windows offering unobstructed panoramic views of the sea.
