The latter, designed by the Bolzano-based NOA* studio, literally overturns the concept of wellness and beauty. “Heaven&Hell,” in fact, consists of elegant, stylized alpine huts scattered on a massive steel construction and arranged upside down on the lower level. These cottages evoke the original alpine huts that adorn the surrounding meadows. A filigree walkway leads from the relaxation room directly to the heaven, the upper level. The building houses whirlpools and saunas, completing the 7,000-square-meter wellness world of Alpenreych, including 9 indoor and outdoor pools and 8 different saunas.
