A synergy of excellence between ovre.design and Perdormire Hotel transforms the first Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Umbria into a manifesto of comfort and history
In the beating heart of Umbria’s historic center, Hotel La Rosetta Perugia reopens its doors under the aegis of the prestigious Tapestry Collection by Hilton. The renovation project, led by the studio ovre.design, represents a turning point for the city’s hospitality, blending the rigor of an international chain with the deep soul of a historic palace protected by the Superintendency of Cultural Heritage.
For this architectural challenge, Giulia Del Piano, co-founder of ovre.design, sought a sophisticated and territorial inspiration: the color palettes and materials are a direct tribute to the paintings of Perugino, bringing the warm tones and Renaissance atmospheres into contemporary suites.

A Strategic Partnership for Luxury Hospitality
The success of the interiors at Hotel La Rosetta Perugia lies in the consolidated collaboration between the design studio and Perdormire Hotel. The Pistoia-based brand, a leader in the contract sector, acted as a fundamental technical partner to realize the project’s strategic goal: elevating the aesthetic value of upholstered furniture without ever sacrificing the extreme functionality required by the hotel industry.
From this brief, the Naim by ovre.design collection was born—a line that demonstrates how sofa beds and headboards can be transformed into elements of pure architectural design.

Naim and Mirò: Where Elegance Becomes Functional
Inside the rooms of Hotel La Rosetta Perugia, space management has been solved with versatile and refined furnishing solutions.
The Naim Sofa Bed: Aesthetics Without Compromise
The Naim model presents itself as a sofa with generous proportions and a tailored cut. However, its versatile soul allows it to transform into a high-comfort bed, equipped with Class 1IM certified mattresses. For this specific project, Naim was upholstered with a double texture:
- Exterior: Mary fabric, an iridescent natural beige finish that captures the light.
- Interior: Soft upholstery, a minimal and tactile weave that invites relaxation.
The Mirò Daybed: Minimalism and Versatility
In selected suites, the Naim sofa is joined by the Mirò daybed. Featuring a removable shell and cushions with a non-tip base, Mirò represents the synthesis of essential design. It is the ideal solution for quickly transforming a seating area into an extra bed while maintaining aesthetic alignment with the color palette inspired by Umbrian art.

Contract Standards and Bespoke Customization
Beyond aesthetics, the technical supply for Hotel La Rosetta Perugia meets the most rigorous safety and durability standards of the contract sector. Every fabric used is fire-retardant and abrasion-resistant, ensuring the longevity necessary for a high-traffic facility.
The ability of Perdormire Hotel to adapt colors, materials, and finishes allowed ovre.design to create a unique environment, where customization becomes the primary tool to express the visual and historical identity of a palace that, today more than ever, is a landmark for international design in Italy.
