Fluid Living: The New Face of Milanese Real Estate

Contract District Group designs the interiors for the OnPlace projects in Viale Montenero and Corso Vercelli

The Milanese real estate market is moving fast toward increasingly flexible and service-oriented housing solutions. In this rapidly growing scenario, Contract District Group (CDG) solidifies its leadership position. The company has just unveiled the interior design for two new residential complexes in the heart of the Lombard capital: Viale Montenero 6 and Corso Vercelli 23-25.

The projects expand the portfolio of OnPlace, the digital and physical platform that manages rental properties. This real estate operation was developed under the umbrella of the PRS Italy Fund, backed by Investire SGR and Partners Group. This intervention demonstrates the great vibrancy of the Build-to-Rent sector in Milan, a formula that is attracting more and more institutional investors.

To respond to the challenges of this market, CDG has launched a specialized internal division. The team coordinates every stage of the process: from interior design and logistics to assembly and after-sales support. The final result delivers “turnkey” apartments, ready to move into and perfect for modern urban rhythms.

Corso Vercelli 23-25: Material Balance and Domestic Warmth

The Milanese studio MAB Arquitectura oversaw the artistic direction for this first location. The interior design focuses on a constant dialogue between different materials and the warmth of a home. The architects chose a mood with a dual soul: a textured stoneware surface meets the softness of wooden parquet.

This mix creates a contemporary, understated, and highly welcoming language. The fixed furnishings define the space with order and precision. The kitchen becomes the true centerpiece of the living area. The compositions alternate between white and green doors, while the countertops feature terrazzo-effect surfaces and polished quartz.

Details That Make the Difference

  • Living Area: Rio walnut inserts enrich the islands and snack counters.
  • Sleeping Area: Cashmere-colored wardrobes and large mirrors amplify natural light.
  • Brand Partners: Gruppo Veneta Cucine, Gruppo Battistella, Falmec, and Candy.

Viale Montenero 6: Graphic Rigor and Contemporary Spirit

The second project bears the signature of the De Amicis Architetti studio. Here, the atmosphere changes, shifting toward a more essential, graphic, and geometric style. The designers developed a dual color palette, one warm and one cool. This choice differentiates the individual apartments while maintaining strong visual consistency throughout the building.

Clean lines dominate the spaces. The kitchens feature rope and deep gray tones, paired with technical details in polished steel. Open shelving and smart peninsulas connect the kitchen to the living room, transforming the space into a fluid environment.

In the bedrooms, hemp and sand tones triumph. Sommier storage beds and textile boiserie combine minimalist aesthetics with maximum daily practicality. At this address too, CDG selected top-tier furnishings from the Gruppo Veneta Cucine and Gruppo Battistella brands to guarantee long-lasting quality and durability.
