Symphonies of Color and Silence: Design Sounds Right in the New La Romana Headquarters

Acoustic Comfort Transforms into Geometric Aesthetics: Isolspace Sound-Absorbing Panels Redefine Workplace Identity through Style, Well-being, and Productivity

Acoustic comfort is a fundamental strategic element in the design of contemporary offices. In modern workspaces, sound control translates directly into psychophysical well-being and concentration. Conversely, acoustic pollution causes discomfort, mental fatigue, and a noticeable drop in corporate productivity.

Isolspace signs the acoustic turning point in Carpiano

Isolspace, a famous brand of the Tecnasfalti Group, has carried out a major redevelopment project. The intervention involved the new offices of the headquarters of La Romana dal 1947. The well-known artisanal gelato brand from Rimini views its workspaces as a reflection of its corporate culture. Here, attention to detail and employee health guide every single design choice.

The perfect synthesis of aesthetic and technical function

Isolspace solutions naturally integrate technical precision and visual beauty. Proper acoustic comfort thus becomes an evolved architectural language. The sound-absorbing panels do not merely correct sound; they combine refined design, high performance, color customization, and high sustainability of materials.

The project by Odeon Design Studio

The intervention, curated by Odeon Design Studio, focused on the meeting room and the retail office. The main objective was to eliminate annoying environmental reverberation phenomena. Sound waves were continuously reflecting off the large glass windows and rigid materials. This phenomenon created prolonged echoes, compromising overall acoustic comfort during meetings and teamwork.

Sustainable geometries for visual well-being

The designers chose panels from the Isolspace Style Collection. These elements are composed of ISOLFIBTEC® polyester fiber, derived from recycled PET. The structure is completely non-toxic, hypoallergenic, and environmentally friendly. The modules were integrated into a regular wooden geometric grid, which organizes the surfaces and enhances the visual perception of the space.

Enveloping colors and energy in the retail office

In the retail office, the large open space hosts a very dynamic color composition. The sage green sound-absorbing panels, featuring brass profiles, convey a sense of relaxation and hospitality. On the other hand, the orange-toned elements bring energy and vitality. This alternation organizes the space without dividing the workflows, ensuring excellent widespread acoustic comfort.

Maximum concentration in the meeting room

The meeting room adopts a deeper and more focused color palette. Orange alternates with anthracite gray, outlined by a sharp black frame. In this room, reducing reverberation is essential. Optimizing acoustic comfort improves speech intelligibility. Consequently, mental fatigue is reduced during longer, decision-making meetings.
