New directions in contemporary design

The jury highlights a design approach combining technological innovation and sustainability with material research and cultural memory. In ceramics and bathroom design, materials transform into sensory and narrative experiences.

Natural surfaces, recycled materials, and precise design take center stage. Authentic textures and aesthetic coherence turn products and exhibition setups into unique stories. Fair booths focus on immersive, identity-driven experiences that communicate brand values with originality and formal rigor.

Young talents and education

ADI involved local schools and universities. Students from the Product Design Degree at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Bologna joined the jury and created a logbook with notes, sketches, and photos.
Thanks to collaboration with IAAD, students reinterpreted awarded products in their own projects, such as Supertiles by Vera Vespignani with Ceramica Bardelli.

Through these initiatives, ADI strengthens the connection between companies, institutions, and emerging talents, turning the awards into tools for cultural and educational growth.
