World Environment Day on June 5 brings the topic of sustainability back to the center of global debate. Today, the transformation of production systems is an absolute priority. This change structurally affects the worlds of both design and education. POLI.design responds to this urgency with an educational layout focused on the relationship between design, environment, innovation, and social responsibility.

Out of Fashion: the sustainable revolution in the fashion system
“Out of Fashion” fits right into this landscape of change. This Higher Education Course is a collaboration between POLI.design and Connecting Cultures, which organizes and manages the program. The lessons center around the evolution of the contemporary fashion system.
The course adopts an interdisciplinary approach that connects design, industry, and contemporary culture. Students tackle the industry’s hottest topics: circular economy and supply chain traceability, the study of new ecological materials, and, finally, workers’ rights and corporate social responsibility.
Designing regeneration: the master’s program starting in November
Alongside this program, the Master’s in Design for Sustainability and Regeneration stands out, launching this coming November. The program proposes a systemic approach to the ecological transition. Students analyze concrete solutions for environmental regeneration, ESG strategies, social innovation, and new organizational models for the circular economy.
Furthermore, the reflection guided by World Environment Day serves as a reminder of the importance of acting on a global scale. For this reason, POLI.design integrates a focus on sustainability across various areas of its educational portfolio: from fashion design to business design and the strategic design of processes. Design, therefore, becomes the key tool for creating new cultural models geared toward environmental responsibility.
