Rubinetterie Treemme Conquers Milan: The New Showroom Inaugurated in the Heart of Design

A space of over 500 square meters inside a fascinating industrial loft celebrates the brand’s growth and unveils its latest product innovations

Milan confirms its status as the undisputed capital of design, welcoming a major new opening. Rubinetterie Treemme has officially inaugurated its new exhibition space at via Mecenate 76/b. This opening represents a fundamental strategic milestone, designed to consolidate a direct relationship with the international world of architecture and interior design.

The chosen location boasts a strong historical identity: a fascinating loft of over 500 square meters situated within the former Caproni Aeronautical Workshops complex, where historic red-brick facades tell the story of the area’s industrial past. Studio Q-Bic curated the entire redevelopment project, enhancing the original architecture through a contemporary design language. An absolute black color palette dominates the layout, bringing great theatrical impact and visual continuity to the entire environment.

Visitors follow a fluid path, punctuated by large architectural panels. Within these minimalist wings, the products emerge almost unexpectedly. The central area hosts a special focus dedicated to shower heads and controls, creating the true centerpiece of the layout. This space is not a mere showcase, but a modern agora designed to host events, presentations, and networking opportunities for industry professionals.

The 10th Anniversary of 5mm: An Icon of Avant-Garde Tapware Dresses in PVD

The Milanese opening coincides with a celebrated anniversary for the brand. Indeed, 2026 marks ten years since the ADI Compasso d’Oro award was bestowed upon Rubinetterie Treemme’s 5mm collection—the first plumbing fixture project in the history of the award to receive this prestigious recognition. Designed by Giampiero Castagnoli, Marco Fagioli, and Emanuel Gargano, this AISI 316L stainless steel series expresses a perfect marriage of formal rigor and high-level technical research.

The name encapsulates the very essence of the concept: five millimeters is the constant thickness defining the entire structure, from the internal water passage to the spout. To celebrate this anniversary, the Tuscan company introduces an exclusive restyling based on refined PVD finishes. The new Gun Metal, Bronze, Yellow Gold, Soft Bronze, and Chocolate tones expand the possibilities for customization. Furthermore, the developed technology ensures minimal maintenance and a strong focus on water conservation. The ultra-thin section of the spout prevents limescale formation, preserving the purity of the water jet over time.

Stainless Steel and Brass: New Collections for the Contemporary Bathroom

The new showroom showcases the extraordinary versatility of the brand’s catalog, divided between sculptural steel proposals and versatile brass solutions also tailored to the contract sector.

316L Stainless Steel Novelties

  • Bliss (design Annabella Hevesi): A three-hole model that reinterprets the faucet as an organic whole. The continuous spout defines a fluid gesture in space, balancing geometric purity with separate controls.
  • Flou (design Studio Kinowa): This series stands out for its extremely thin wall-mounted plate and an innovative internal mechanism. The system allows for millimetric alignment of the levers without visible grub screws, offering a minimalist aesthetic.
  • Fly (design Studio Kinowa): A proposal with a bold, sculptural identity. Its distinctive feature is the wall plate, characterized by a wide, enveloping conical curvature that transforms technical research into decorative language.

Brass Solutions and Models for the Contract Sector

  • Footprint & Mars (design Studio Kinowa): Two lines created specifically for the contract market. Footprint proposes contemporary round-section shapes, while Mars focuses on bold, rigorous geometries. Both offer complete solutions (washbasin, bidet, shower, bathtub) in finishes such as chrome, brushed nickel, gun metal, matte white, and matte black.
  • Albatros (design Gianluca Belli): A series inspired by lightness and majesty. It utilizes a flat cartridge measuring just 22 millimeters to keep the body slender. The carefully studied tilt keeps the handle positioned over the basin, eliminating dripping onto the vanity top.
  • Appia & Aurelia (design Danilo Fedeli / 3DF Design): Two collections reinterpreting classic style. Appia blends tradition and innovation with single-hole and three-hole elements. Aurelia leverages calibrated cuts on cylindrical surfaces to capture light, offering as many as 12 finish variants.

Smart Shower Systems: Total Control of Water

The brand’s technological research reaches its peak in the new control systems for the shower area, combining minimalist aesthetics with maximum customization.

The W-touch system by Rubinetterie Treemme, designed by Giampiero Castagnoli, offers control plates and thermostatic mixers in brass, steel, and PVD. The device operates on a flush-plate “push and adjust” concept: when the knobs are not in use, they retract completely into the structure, creating a clean, sleek effect. The system supports up to 6 independent outlets.

Alongside this solution, the company’s R&D department presents W-smart, a 2- or 3-way control with flow rate regulation via rotation, ideal for contemporary shower heads. Lastly, Studio Q-Bic signs the Watt line, a collection of multifunction controls clearly inspired by the world of vintage lighting. The toggle levers evoke old light switches, pairing a retro, tech-chic look with the most modern thermostatic cartridges.
