Architect@Work: Circular Economy

The theme of Architect@Work 2019 is circular economy: how materials can help architects design with no waste. Solutions to recycle and renovate buildings and urban spaces

The debate over the problems caused by pollution is increasingly lively and researchers are constantly studying new solutions to protect the environment. Innovation thus becomes a tool to recycle and regenerate materials, offering architects new ideas to design or renovate buildings. Circular economy, careful and smart management of resources, recycling everything that can be reused, are the focus of Architect@Work 2019, which will be back in Italy, in two cities: Turin, 23-24 October, and Milan, 13-14 November.
