UNICO Brera is the new smart housing project by Impresa Rusconi, which invites people to live in Milan in small yet comfortable and eco-friendly spaces
UNICO-Brera, a new smart housing project that proposes a new way of living in full comfort and well-being, is being built in the heart of Milan. Impresa Rusconi’s new real estate project at Via Anfiteatro 7 is the result of the collaboration with architect Marco Cerri, Studio ArchiMI and interior designer Beatrice Villata.
UNICO-Brera: a new way of living in Milan
The new building, which will be completed by 2025 covering a commercial area of 2,300 square meters, will include a total of 27 apartments in energy class A: 23 Unico units, 1 two-room apartment, 2 three-room apartments and a multi-level apartment with independent entrance.
The Unico solutions, in particular, are designed for those looking for smart and versatile housing in the heart of the city. These apartments, in fact, combine maximum livability and comfort in small spaces ranging from 42 to 55 square meters. Despite their small size, thanks to an accurate study of spaces and finishes, they are able to guarantee comfort and high-quality housing.

The apartments are characterized by a minimalist and welcoming design and flexible spaces that can be transformed depending on one’s personal and work needs thanks to custom-made furniture included in the offer. These design solutions efficiently divide living and sleeping areas and enhance the livability of spaces, which include bedroom, living room, kitchen equipped with all comforts and a front wall that, if necessary, from a closet bookcase can turn into a desk and that conceals within it single or double beds, depending on the chosen layout, making it possible able to accommodate up to four people.
UNICO-Brera’s POP BIZ design
UNICO-Brera apartments are distinguished by different interior design styles that can suit a variety of personal tastes and needs. POP, lively and colorful, is characterized by contrasting elements that create rhythm and liveliness in the lives of the most dynamic people. The square overlooked by UNICO-Brera, which is about 300 square meters and currently in a state of neglect, is undergoing a redevelopment and regeneration process with the inclusion of green elements, modern lighting systems and benches.
A look at the architecture
With geometric and elegant lines, UNICO-Brera has a porcelain stoneware façade and a concrete and steel load-bearing structure that complies with earthquake resistance standards. This gas-free building is equipped with high thermal-acoustic insulation and low environmental impact systems, as well as excellent finishes and materials such as oak parquet flooring and resin cladding along with state-of-the-art home automation systems.
