Talenti Outdoor Lab Tour 2023/24 continues in Bari, with Roberto Palomba’s master class and the presentation of the 2024 catalog
Education and sustainability, the outdoors and design through the magnifying glass of the experience of a world-renowned designer. This and much more was the last stage of the Outdoor Lab Tour 2023/24 the series of traveling master classes promoted by Talenti, a leading brand in the high-end outdoor furniture sector, which on December 4, with the collaboration of Barili Srl, a historic building materials company, arrived in the heart of Bari at the iconic Spazio Murat, a prestigious and evocative cultural hub known throughout the region.
An outstanding speaker for this event was Roberto Palomba, who, in front of an audience of architects, enthusiasts and insiders, delivered a real master class entitled “The Mediterranean-style outdoor project.” Divided into 2 parts, the lecture included an introduction about Studio Palomba Serafini Associati and the firm’s design projects on the Mediterranean coasts. Finally, a focus on the outdoor products that the firm has created in collaboration with Talenti.
Spazio Murat, a culture and design hub
Spazio Murat is one of Bari’s most popular cultural venues. The former Margherita Theater and the former Fish Market opposite to it form with Spazio Murat the emerging Hub for contemporary art and culture in the city. In addition to hosting and managing the Puglia Design Store, it is the first space to host the Hub’s activities with a rich program of activities and events.
Talenti Lab Tour promotes the potential of outdoor design
Talenti Lab Tour is aimed at offering moments of high professional training and demonstrating to enthusiasts and insiders the very high level that outdoor design can reach. In fact, the modules of the lecture made it possible to analyze the different faces of outdoor furniture and the infinite possibilities for typically Mediterranean environments, also thanks to the presence of Barili, Talenti’s historical partner, in Puglia, which accepted with great enthusiasm the possibility of organizing a Talenti event that was a great success in Palermo, Malta and New York.
Talenti’s novelties for 2024
Spazio Murat presented the brand’s novelties for 2024 designed by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba. The absolute protagonist was the Venice collection and, in particular, the evocative modular sofa that underlies the concept of the whole line. A product that responds to the desire of its creators to imagine an element that would give the impression of floating on water, just like a wooden raft. Therefore, the sofa floats like a boat in the middle of the sea, navigating the dreams and fantasies of anyone who sits on it. Later, very light woven backrests and cushions were added and, on this particular structure, they recall the sails that push the imagination into a new dimension.
Lastly, Panama Egg, the seat with an egg-shaped swivel base, synonymous with elegance and relaxation. The aluminum frame covered with woven ropes combined with quick foam cushions, in addition to providing comfort and convenience for pleasant moments of relaxation in the open air, creates a spectacular play of light and shadow.
