gloTM

gloTM presents a new stage of the traveling art project “glo for art” with an immersive installation by Emiliano Ponzi. The site-specific work, located in theHub Gattinoni, invites visitors to explore a vibrant tunnel of shapes and colors that leads to an impressive artwork, transforming the space into an explosion of positivity and creativity.

Grand Seiko

At Case Brera, in Grand Seiko’s space, it will be possible to try out the Shinrin-yoku, a famous Japanese meditation technique made possible through the reproduction of a real forest; on the other hand, in the second area, a contemporary, digital environment evokes the “urban forest,” a theater in which matter is transformed through human intervention.

Materia Natura: Conversazioni con Portanuova

In the Brera Design District, Fuorisalone 2024’s theme, Materia Natura, comes to life in a site-specific immersive installation on Piazza Gae Aulenti. In fact, thanks to the contribution of Coima, Materia Natura evolves to become “Materia Natura: Conversazioni con Portanuova”, a site-specific immersive installation in the heart of Gae Aulenti, within the Portanuova area. From April 14 to 21, it will be possible to have a direct experience with the POV work and enter into a dialogue with the theme by answering four questions designed for the Fuorisalone audience.

The installation Materia Natura: Conversazioni con Portanuova has been designed by architects Andrea Cassi and Michele Versaci (founders of EX) with Giorgio Ferrero (MYBOSSWAS). The five videos offer an aesthetic investigation into the fragile relationship between man and the environment, portraying different elements that represent the impact of man by bearing the signs of the actions by which natural matter is transformed into a design object.

Stark

Stark’s installation offers a multisensory experience by exploring the presence of water and its morphologies through a perceptual journey in the Sala dei Pilastri of the Sforza Castle. Water, a symbol of vitality, is represented through light and materials in a narrative that engages visitors through transforming visual, sound and material patterns, while a trompe l’oeil reflects the relationship between matter and human being.

Design Space AlUla

Design Space AlUla debuts at Milan Design Week as a hub for design projects made in AlUla, a city in Saudi Arabia, presenting works by Saudi and international designers, celebrating the city’s natural history and local materials. The installation is curated by Sabine Marcelis and CLOUD.

MCM

MCM debuts at the Milan Design Week with an innovative project at Palazzo Cusani, which promises to offer a bold exploration of design and spotlight the Wearable Casa collection conceived by Atelier Biagetti. The overall mood of the collection is characterized by a mix of irony and originality, allowing objects to transcend their traditional roles and take the audience into another world.
