Inaugurated at Milan’s Spazio IsolaSET, this exhibition merges Rainbow’s iconic imagery with avant-garde design from Politecnico di Milano and Poliarte
The line between dreams and design has never been thinner. On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2026, the Lombard capital celebrates the debut of Home Fairy Home, an immersive exhibition promising to revolutionize our perception of the domestic environment. Hosted in the scenic Spazio IsolaSET in Piazza Città di Lombardia, the exhibition reinterprets the universe of Winx Club — a global phenomenon that has shaped the aesthetics of entire generations — transforming it into a sophisticated, identity-driven, and profoundly contemporary design language.
The project, born from the vision of Iginio Straffi (Founder of Rainbow) in collaboration with the Lombardy Region, the Politecnico di Milano, and Poliarte Ancona, serves as a bridge between pop culture and Italian manufacturing excellence. It remains open to the public until May 8.

A Manifesto for the Winx Generation
Home Fairy Home is not merely about objects; it is about people. The objective is clear: to allow those who grew up with the values of uniqueness and courage from the Alfea fairies to bring a touch of “daily magic” into their own living spaces. This is not a simple merchandising operation, but a profound reflection on the home as an emotional sanctuary.
Curated by Dario Gulli, the exhibition transforms the personalities of the iconic fairies and their antagonists, the Trix, into tangible concepts for the living room, kitchen, and even the home spa. Here, “pop” is not a nostalgic reference, but a design tool capable of making daily life more expressive and vibrant.

Design Shaped by New Talents
The beating heart of Home Fairy Home lies in the educational journey involving over 100 young students from the Politecnico di Milano School of Design and the Poliarte Academy of Ancona. Divided into multidisciplinary teams, these future creatives translated the essence of the Winx brand into full-scale prototypes, engaging with cutting-edge production technologies and innovative materials.
The result is a system of over 100 works including:
- Furnishing Accessories: From creative tableware to home entertainment solutions.
- Signature Artworks: Collaborations with international artists such as Boris Dondé and Giulio Menossi.
- Experiential Outdoor: An external area featuring six benches dedicated to each Winx and a swing—a symbol of connection—created with Pozza.

A Strategic Vision for the Future of Interiors
Through Home Fairy Home, design opens its doors to the new generations, intercepting languages linked to computer animation and action movies to create new chromatic harmonies in residential interiors.
Supported by premium partners such as Slide Design, Inkiostro Bianco, and Gruppo Romani, the exhibition confirms that the design of tomorrow will increasingly rely on the ability to evoke emotions and tell stories, transforming every house into a place where reality finally meets wonder.
