Outdoor spaces: furniture and finishes (first part)

The perfect outdoor décor features furniture, floors, verandas, sheds and pergolas, lighting

The recent sanitary emergency made it necessary for many people to stay locked up indoors for several months and made outdoor spaces even more valuable. As a result, outdoor furniture, which has been growing steadily for ten years, continues to thrive and is among the industries least affected by the crisis. Moreover, companies invest more and more in outdoor furniture, looking for new recyclable materials that use less energy and are ultimately more eco-friendly.

Outdoor furniture and recycled materials

Folio Rocking is the rocking version of Folio, the chair designed by Raffaello Galiotto for Nardi Outdoor. As the name says, Folio is made from a single sheet of resin, bent to balance the seat’s stiffness and elasticity. The kit for the rocking base is an optional of the fixed version, which can be purchased separately, formed by two slides to be applied in place of the feet. Hollow armrests hide a patented mini manual mechanism, which allows the backrest to recline in two positions. The chair also includes two upholstered cushions for extra comfort. Folio is in fully recyclable polypropylene, an extra element of the “Regeneration” project for the reuse of plastic, a project that Nardi enthusiastically supports.
