Franke has won three Red Dot Awards and one IF Design Award 2021 with the Mythos oven collection and the Icon and Lift mixer taps
The jury of the Red Dot Design Award 2021, one of the most important and coveted design international awards, has given the Mythos oven collection and the new Icon and Lift mixer taps, produced by Franke, three awards in 2021. The awards, in the Kitchen Appliances, Kitchen Accessories and Kitchen Taps and Sinks categories, highlight the expertise of the company, world leader in the production of sinks, mixer taps and high-end appliances, in combining aesthetic perfection, innovative technology and top performance.
Mythos, Franke’s new oven range, helps those who appreciate good cooking and pleases the eye of those who love to surround themselves with beautiful things. All models are in framed black glass, with thin stainless-steel profiles that are burnished in the Mythos Black Steel version for a tone-on-tone effect.

Good things come in threes and sometimes fours: the Icon mixer tap has won the IF Design Award 2021
The jury of the IF Design Award 2021 has awarded the innovative design of the Icon mixer tap by Franke. Icon represents an original interpretation of the aesthetics of the mixer tap, offering perfect balance between sinuous lines inspired by nature and the utmost practicality. Icon’s form and technology conquered the jury, which awarded the product based on five criteria: idea, form, function, differentiation, impact.
Icon is available in two versions (with adjustable pull out spray with double jet or swivel spout) and three exclusive finishes (Chrome, Decor Steel and Matte Black). Icon mixer tap’s appeal is based on the symmetric proportions of its silhouette. The configuration with pull out spray is characterized by the side lever that further enhances its ergonomics. On the other hand, the version with swivel spout, is characterized by the front lever, which allows you to operate the water flow even with busy or dirty hands. Moreover, the laminar aerator with which both versions are equipped guarantees a clearer jet reducing splashing and the formation of limescale at once.
