HOMI, The Lifestyle Trade Fair, will be back from 11 to 14 March 2022, with a focus on craftsmanship, ‘Made In’ and sustainability
The March 2022 edition of HOMI will be full of novelties. The wide range of proposals focuses, once again, on craftsmanship, ‘Made In’ and sustainability, essential cornerstones for the Milanese event that explores all the trends of home living. Complements and furnishing objects, fabrics and textiles for the home, fragrances, kitchenware and tableware will illustrate the evolution of home living and design.

The event presents the wide Italian and international artisanal production; the protagonists are the many different materials that are inextricably linked to the territory from which they come. The link with the territory is a pillar of the various projects, which combine sustainability with functionality and aesthetics.
HOMI 2022: sustainability
Speaking of sustainability, in March 2022 HOMI is hosting the first edition of the KI-LIFE Sustainable Award 2022, in collaboration with Kiki-Lab. The award is dedicated to Italian and international companies that have conceived and created products or projects with sustainable development in mind. In other words, to companies and products that enhance the territory, and to production processes that reduce environmental impact.
There will also be a focus on training, thanks to a series of talks and workshops. In collaboration with the Platform Architecture and Design magazine, twelve major architectural firms from across Italy and Europe will feature projects and case histories centered on the evolution of the Retail Experience. Meanwhile, two events will be held in cooperation with the Fondazione dell’Ordine degli Architetti di Milano e Provincia, focusing on architectural issues. Lastly, there will also be a series of workshops on the Retail industry in partnership with ART, the association that brings key players from tableware, cooking, gifts and home décor together.
HOMI will also host the Global Innovator Award Italia – special edition #RIPRESA awards ceremony organized by Casastile, recognizing retail outlets’ Best Practices. Among the considered aspects there are visuals, digitalization, new promotional methods, the communication with consumers via new media.
